Walking into the scholarship examination room at the CIS and Sedbergh Vietnam (SSV) campus this morning, I was struck by a powerful emotion. Seeing nearly 100 top students filling rows of workstations, deeply focused in a highly professional and prestigious environment—while parents gathered next door for a seminar on academic and life excellence—felt truly surreal.
When EQuest first made the strategic decision to invest in CIS and Sedbergh Vietnam, our leadership team shared one primary ambition: to see the day when top-tier students would proactively seek us out and compete for admission.
Today, just three years later, that vision became a reality. Nearly 100 exceptional students from various schools and regions (including families traveling all the way from Da Nang) gathered to compete in the CIS & Sedbergh Olympiad scholarship exam. This was an intense, three-hour assessment evaluating comprehensive student capacity—from English proficiency and analytical thinking to personal strengths and complex problem-solving skills.
Currently, CIS and Sedbergh Vietnam serve as hubs for outstanding talent across academics, athletics, and the arts. These campuses represent the purest execution of EQuest’s K-12 Unique Selling Propositions (USPs):
- Academic Excellence
- Elite Athletics
- Talent Convergence
- World-Class Campus Design
- Exceptional Student Experience
Parents and students are genuinely beginning to trust that CIS and Sedbergh are ecosystems worth investing in for the future. Elite students now view our campuses as a primary “destination,” rather than a secondary backup option. These institutions are no longer temporary school choices for short-term expatriates; they have evolved into permanent, thriving communities of excellence.
My deepest gratitude goes out to the entire CIS and Sedbergh Vietnam community.
